My aunt told me that I’m to “bring some beer” for thanksgiving supper. I got a bit carried away...

Coworker brought all her leftover beer in to work on a day that’s destroying me. I’m convinced they want me to become an alcoholic.

Well, you gotta make sure you don’t run out!!

Rhinegeist is legit!

This new one of theirs: HUGH...
I think it’s my favorite that they’ve made. It’s killer!

That’s not “carried away”.
That’s the appetizers.

I used to buy 6 packs of XXX way back in 1994, I was good for the night with that. I was 15 at the time.
Can’t believe they still make that

I think it’s been a decade since I’ve had a Molson XXX. I didn’t think they still made it either! When I saw it I immediately picked it up. It was a MUST PURCHASE

We can’t determine if it’s overkill without knowing the number of guests. I figure a sixer per guest is a good safe number.

Good point! Honestly out of all the people coming to dinner only 4 really drink. And I think each one of those 4 are bringing booze to the meal too!

I presume his aunt will have wine for dinner.
And save the hard stuff for later-

All good choices. I’ve had Rhinegeist but not the Hugh. Will need to try the Platform New Cleveland. Was in beer section at a Marc’s last night looking at just 6 varieties of the Rhinegeist... so many choices.

Sir, I applaud your beer, but not your heinous grammatical error.

What grammatical error did I commit?

Rhinegeist is “ok” in my opinion. They have a couple good ones.
They are #5 at best, on my list, of local craft breweries.

Where is there a Marc’s? The last time I went into a Marc’s was near my old apartment in Westerville, right outside of Columbus.

But as someone born and raised in So Cal I can’t abide by such treachery ;)

Ha! Well, not so much a grammatical error as just appropriating a foreign colloquialism. I’m in southwestern Ohio.

You are a damn good nephew!

Well it isn’t a word Sir. Now you know
You have a gaggle of beer

If no one’s raided the liquor cabinet already.

I’m headed home to Cincy this weekend, I’ll have to scope it out.

Well my aunt, Lynn, is only 5 years older than me. She’s my dad’s youngest sibling. But she’s a truly gifted cook. Her thanksgiving day spread will be epic beyond belief. She has a special gift for cooking! I’ll post pics of the meal if you’re interested

A few in Akron, many in Cleveland. Afew decent Ohio breweries that come to mind are Great Lakes, Headhunters, MadCap, Madtree, Hopping Frog and Thirsty Dog.
